The Committee on Entrepreneurship, Regulatory and Antimonopoly Policy recommends that the Parliament should adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to the Law “On State Registration of Legal Persons and Natural Persons-Entrepreneurs”

The bill (Reg. No. 2999) establishes that amendments to the data on a legal person provided in the Single State Registrar regarding amendments to the constitutive documents shall be made exclusively on the basis of original of the respective decision of the administration bodies of a legal person, while, according to the current version of the law, respective amendments are allowed to be made on the basis of a copy of the respective documents or a certified copy.   

Committee members believe that adoption of the bill will improve investment climate in Ukraine by preventing corporate raid of legal persons and ensure protection of ownership rights.
