To the cooperators of Ukraine
I sincerely congratulate you on the occasion of the International Cooperative Day.
Cooperative movement that has been recognized and developed in the first half of the XIX century today plays an important role in economy of the majority countries of the world. By uniting people on voluntary democratic basis, cooperatives naturally combine personal, collective and social interests; activate entrepreneurship initiative; and make significant contribution to strengthening nation economies.
Using universally recognized cooperative values, principles and multi-year experience, national cooperative movement today tries to fully apply market methods of work, as well as their economic potential in order to carry out social transformations in Ukraine and increase citizens’ welfare.
I wish cooperators significant achievements in the important social case – meeting of socio-economic needs of Ukrainians. I wish you and your families sound health, happiness and welfare.
