The Committee on Family Matters, Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism recommends that the Parliament should adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to article 2 of the Law “On State Support and Peculiarities of Functioning of Children’s Centers “Artek” and “Moloda Hvardiya” (re possibility of placement of educational institutions)

The bill (Reg. No. 2284) suggests supplement the existing law with a provision eliminating restrictions regarding leasing buildings of the abovementioned children’s centers for disposition of educational institutions, irrespective of type of ownership.

People’s deputies noted that during preparation of the bill for the second reading, the Committee will suggest a provision under which, the right to tenancy will be stipulated only for educational institutions of state and municipal ownership.
