The Committee on Foreign Affairs recommends that the Parliament should adopt in entirety the draft law on Ukraine’s joining the Convention on Protection of Children and Co-operation in Respect of Intercountry Adoption

To implement the Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada No.235-VII of 15.05.2013 the Committee refined the bill (Reg. No. 0014) to consider it in the repeated first reading.

Considering cautions expressed by people’s deputies during the discussion of the bill in the first reading, the Committee decided to recommend Parliament ratification of the Convention and adoption of the elaborated bill in entirety with the following amendments:  

supplementing the bill with the statement to article 4 of the Convention;

new version of the statement to article 12;  

to supplementing the statement to article 28.  

It was suggested also supplementing the bill with clause 2.
