The Committee on Legislative support of Law Enforcement recommends that the Verkhovna Rada should adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to article 166-12 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements re strengthening responsibility for violation of legislation on licensing certain types of economic activity

The bill (Reg. No. 2942) establishes administrative responsibility for violation of established by the law terms required to take the decision on issuance, denial of a license or its copy, or reissuance of a license by licensing officials. 

The bill suggests increase penalty amount. The respective amendments are to be made to part one of article 166-12 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements.

Committee members believe that adoption of the bill will promote adherence to licensing procedure determined by current legislation by licensing officials.
