The Committee on Legislative Support of Law Enforcement recommends that the Verkhovna Rada should adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to the Code of Ukraine of Administrative Infringements re improving accountability for transport violations, violations in road management and communication

The bill (reg. No. 2667) suggests increasing the amount of fine for dropping litter and other objects while driving, stopping or parking of a motor vehicle or electric transport. The respective amendments are to be made to part two of article 119 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements.     

Committee members believe that strengthening of responsibility for these violations will promote environmental rehabilitation of the territory of Ukraine.
