The bill (Reg. No. 2938) suggests amending the laws “On state regulation of production and turnover of ethyl, cognac and fruit alcoholic beverages and tobacco products”, “On State Regulation of Imports of Agricultural Products”, “On Safety and Quality of Food Products”, “On Protection of People Against Ionizing Radiation”, “On Beekeeping”, “On fish and other water living resources and food products from them” and “On Milk and Milk Products”. Under amendments, a number of provisions regarding receipt of licensing documents by economic entities should be excluded from the abovementioned laws, and certain measures in the sphere of food products market should be introduced.
Committee members stressed that adoption of the bill can lead to loss of control over the quality of goods and increase the risk of using poor quality food staples, food products, drink water and alcoholic beverages.
