The people’s deputies of Ukraine participated in the III All-Ukrainian Olympics among the deputies of councils of different levels

 Competitions in futsal, volleyball, table tennis, chess and draughts took place in Alushta (the Autonomous Republic of Crimea). 18 teams participated in competitions.  

During the opening ceremony, the Chairman of the Committee on Family Matters, Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism Artur Palatnyi read out the greeting of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak. The people’s deputy wished participants and guests of the sports holiday success and bright victories. 

A.Palatnyi noted also that “Three years successively people’s deputies of all levels gather in Crimea to compete in different kinds of sport and decently represent their region during the All-Ukrainian Olympics”. He stressed that such sport events popularize healthy life style.

Following the results of competition, deputies of all levels of Cherkasy region won the first place, of Ivano-Frankivsk region – the second place; and of Zhytomyr region – the third place. 

A.Palatnyi awarded winners with medals and mugs and gave special prizes, established by the Committee, and acknowledgements to members of the organizational committee.
