The bill (Reg. No. 2287) suggests establish the order of exercising technical and engineering support of geodetic and cartographic activities, as well as state geodetic monitoring and monitoring in the sphere of land organization.
Under the bill, technical support of geodetic and cartographic activities is based on using computing and information technology and technical means to perform geodetic and cartographic works.
Engineering support of geodetic and cartographic activities is based on using modern informational technologies and systems to create geodetic and cartographic materials; and on data collection, recording, controlling, accumulation, preservation, renewal, search, transformation, processing, reflection, output and transfer.
