The Committee on Matters of Pensioners, Veterans and Persons with Disabilities recommends that the Parliament should adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to the laws of Ukraine (re adhering to the principle of social justice in pension provision)

The bill (Reg. No. 1236) suggests amending article 20 of the Law “On the Status of the People’s Deputy of Ukraine” and article 58 of the Law “On the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine” in order to advance on the way to ensuring single principles of pension accrual and, thereat, adhering to the principle of social justice in pension provision. The bill establishes that pension provision of the people’s deputies of Ukraine and former members of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is conducted on general basis and in the order established by the Law “On Mandatory State Pension Insurance” starting form July 1, 2013.
