The bill (Reg. No. 2519) suggests specification of the title of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea due to the Constitution of Ukraine, by changing the word “Government” into the word combination “Council of Ministers” in the title of article 10-1 and 11 of the law and exclude words “and by the laws of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, adopted within its competence” from the text of part 1, article 10-1 of the law, as according to the Constitution of Ukraine and the Constitution of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea is not empowered to adopt the laws and can adopt only normative-legislative acts.

The Committee members supported the bill, which adoption will ensure to the Prosecutor’s Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimes more efficient execution of functions foreseen by the Constitution of Ukraine and the Law “On Prosecutor’s Office.”
