The Committee on the Rule of Law and Justice upheld consideration by the Verkhovna Rada the draft law on amendments to the Law “On the Court System and the Status of Judges” (re repayment of reward to judges of liquidated courts)

The Committee received a letter from the Council of Judges of Ukraine regarding situation with indebtedness to judges in connection with liquidation of courts according to the Law “On the Court System and the Status of Judges.”   

People’s deputies drew attention to the fact that the Council of Judges sent to the Committee the bill on amendment to the Law “On the Court System and the Status of Judges” aimed at liquidness of debts to judges of liquidated economic courts, military courts, appeal courts, etc.   

The Committee members unanimously took the decision to support and put this bill into the consideration of Parliament.
