The Committee on Matters of Pensioners, Veterans and Persons with Disabilities should adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to the Law “On state social assistance for disabled from childhood and disabled children” (re care allowance)

Starting from July 1, 2013 the bill (Reg. No. 2015a) stipulates:

increase of the amount of care allowance for looking after a disabled child of subgroup A from 50% to 75% of subsistence level for children of the respective age. Thus, in case the bill is adopted, care allowance for looking after a disabled child under 6 shall increase by UAH 243; and the amount of state social assistance for looking after a disabled child of subgroup A aged 6-18 shall increase by UAH 302,5;    

establishment of responsibility of state social assistance recipients for inaccuracy of documents, submitted for appointment of state social assistance, and for informing bodies that appoint state social assistance of circumstances that influence conditions of appointment of the respective type of assistance and its allowance (new articles 17-1 and 17-2).
