The Committee on Entrepreneurship, Regulatory and Antimonopoly Policy recommends that the Parliament should reject the draft law on amendments to the Law “On Consumers’ Rights Protection” (re strengthening property liability for infringement of consumer rights)

The bill (Reg. No. 2241) aimed at strengthening the liability of economic entities for infringements of consumer rights, in particular, through the introduction of administrative (financial) liability for unfair business practices.

According to the Committee members, the proposed amendments will reduce proposals for providing services on the market.
