The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine works in accordance with the approved agenda of plenary sessions and schedule session plan, and no changes to these schedules were not brought recently.
This was emphasized in a letter of the Secretary General the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariate Valentyn Zaichuk to the Representative of Ukraine to the European Union Kostiantyn Yeliseev.
The Secretary General the Secretariate said that on the official website of the European Parliament of 21 May 2013 appeared an information about the intention of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the European Parliament to organize on May 23, 2013 at Strasbourg hearing about the current political situation in Ukraine with the participation of leaders of parliamentary factions of the All-Ukrainian Union "Batkivshchyna" and the Political Party "UDAR of Vitalii Klychko" A.Yatseniuk and V. Klychko respectively.
This message quoted the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the European Parliament E. Brock, that the above-mentioned people’s deputies of Ukraine were forced to cancel their plans to attend the event of the European Parliament, due to the last minute changes to the agenda of the session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
Given the above, V.Zaichuk informs that Parliament of Ukraine works in accordance with the approved agenda of the plenary sessions and schedule session plan, approved on January 11, 2013, and no changes to these schedules were not brought recently; he asks to bring this information to the attention of the European party.
