The Committee on Entrepreneurship, Regulatory and Antimonopoly Policy recommends that the Parliament should recommit the draft law on amendments to the Law “On Consumers’ Rights Protection” (re securing consumers’ rights to free choice of products and compensation for material and moral damage)

The bill (Reg. No. 2242) aims at bringing the Law “On Consumers’ Rights Protection” in line with current legislation, as well as at strengthening responsibility of economic entities to consumers directly.

Committee members made several remarks to the bill.

Attention was attached to the conclusion of the Central Scientific Experts’ Office of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat, under which, the bill requires refinement.
