The Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs Vitaliy Kaliuzhnyi met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Ukraine Zhang Xiyun

During the meeting that was held at the request of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary the Parties discussed wide range of issues of Ukrainian-Chinese cooperation and marked dynamic level of development of inter-parliamentary dialogue between Ukraine and the People’s Republic of Chine.
Vitaliy Kaliuzhny got acquainted the participants with domestic political situation in Ukraine, he answered the questions addressed to him and told about creation of deputies’ union of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on inter-parliamentary cooperation on the level of friendship groups in future.
Particular attention was paid to positive dynamics of development of bilateral trade-economic cooperation. The Parties positively evaluated adjusted cooperation between the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of People’s Republic of China in Ukraine and expressed interests in involving powerful investment potential and new industrial technologies of China for ensuring modernization of Ukrainian economy and development of infrastructure, and in getting access to Ukrainian goods, services and technologies to the Chinese market.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary noted that inter-parliamentary contacts are very important and Chinese party is ready for cooperation. Zhang Xiyun informed interlocutors about domestic political situation in China and expressed his hopes for possibility of visa liberalization between our countries.
During the meeting it was stressed on the necessity to deepening cooperation in humanitarian and other fields that are of mutual interest.
