The Committee on Transport and Communications recommends that the Verkhovna Rada should adopt as a basis and in entirety the draft law on amendments to article 17 of the Law “On Sea Ports of Ukraine”

Reporting on the bill (Reg. No. 2924), the Deputy Chairman of the Committee Yuriy Kruk reminded that article 17 of the Law “On Sea Ports of Ukraine” stipulates that obligatory resolutions regarding port are subject to mandatory state registration in the order established for state registration of regulatory legal acts of regional, as well as Kyiv and Sevastopol city state administrations and come into force 10 days after their registration, if nothing else was determined.   

Yu.Kruk noted that the bill suggests excluding the abovementioned provision from the current law.

Committee members upheld the bill, adoption of which will allow regulate legal relations connected with adoption of obligatory resolutions concerning port by the administration of sea ports of Ukraine.
