The bill (Reg. No. 7094) sets the legal and organizational principles of circulation and safety of non-edible goods in Ukraine.

Under the bill, "safe non-edible goods are any goods that pose no risk or minor risk, conditioned by the use of such goods, acceptable and safe for the public, in the normal or predictable use conditions (including the life duration and technical maintenance)".

N.Korolevska, Committee Chairperson, stated that the effect of the Law extended onto the production, the safety of which was not subject to the technical regulations.

The bill contains the provision on the state market supervision over the safety of non-edible goods, and state production control by the customs clearance. The bill also sets the responsibility for the violation of this Law.
