The Committee on Industrial and Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship recommends the Parliament to adopt the Bill "On Market Supervision and Production Control" in the Second Reading

The Committee members resolved to change the title of the bill into "On State Market Supervision and Non-Edible Products Control."

 

The bill (Reg. No.6694) offers a legal and organizational basis for the market supervision and production control in the activity of the relevant state bodies to provide safety quality of market goods and alter the state supervision over the standards observance.

 

It implements the European principle, whereby the production in market circulation shall undergo the market supervision. The bill contains principles on the grounds for, objects and peculiarities of the control over the producers and distributors. The bill introduces a new system of control over the imported production that has not been supervised by other control bodies during the customs clearance.

 

The document also sets the rights and obligations of the business entities, and organizations in charge of market supervision, production and market control.
