Mykola Tomenko: Ukrainian Values will be protected, if Ukraine has more Daily, not Election of Budgetary, Patriots
Today, Mykola Tomenko, Deputy Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, took part in the program "Vasha Svoboda" ("Your Freedom") at Svoboda radio channel. He briefed on the educational projects of his Fund, especially, a new education portal "Ridna Kraina" (www.ridnaua.org), an online reference book about a cultural, educated and beautiful Ukraine. One of the highlights of the project is the opportunity to listen to the unique voices of the classical Ukrainian writers and watch the recorded speech of O. Dovzhenko, prominent Ukrainian artist and filmmaker. M.Tomenko stated that the all active young people could form the content of the portal.
As to the parties protecting the Ukrainian values, the Deputy Chairman stated that he divided the politicians and the parties into three categories. "The election patriots try to turn their alleged love for Ukraine into the votes. The budgetary patriots prove their love for Ukraine only for the budget funds. Finally, there are daily patriots," M.Tomenko stated. "The latter advocate and support Ukrainian culture and values on a daily basis," he admitted.
