Mykola Tomenko: Political and Election Factors, not the Economic and Managerial Ones, will be Decisive in the Appointment of the Head of Kyiv City State Administration
The Deputy Chairman is convinced that the Administration of the President of Ukraine will presently finish ‘a mysterious´ competition on filling an office of the Head of Kyiv City State Administration. M. Tomenko explained the delay with an expected appointment of O. Popov by the fact that the main factor of victory in the competition for the office of the Head of Kyiv City State Administration, "is not the ability to support efficient functioning of all the systems in Kyiv, but the guarantee of victory of this candidate and the Party of Regions in the coming mayoral elections."
"I will not mention any surnames discussed as a possible candidates for victory in the elections in Kyiv. It is obvious that the political and election factors, not the economic and managerial ones, will be decisive in the appointment of the Head of Kyiv City State Administration", M. Tomenko admitted.
He is convinced that the team of O. Popov hopes that the opening of the overpass in Moskovska square in Kyiv and presentation of Kyiv underground development project till 2015 will convinced the President to appoint O. Popov to this office.
