The Committee on Economic Policy recommends the Parliament to reject the Draft Resolution on Control over the Increase of Prices for the Essential Foodstuffs

The bill (Reg. No.7076) authorizes the Cabinet of Ministers to develop and implement the order of state regulation of prices for the essential food stuffs within one month, continuously monitor the prices on essential food stuffs, perform operational research of the pricing situation in the consumer market, and amend the register of food stuffs subject to the price regulation.

 

The People´s Deputies stated that the suggested measures "are, actually, regulated by the applicable normative-legal acts."
