The European Integration Committee declared that several Bills complied with the European Union Legislation

The Committee members scrutinized the bill on amendments to sub-item 1 of item 1 of paragraph 2 of Chapter II "Final Provisions" of the Law "On Amendments to several Laws of Ukraine regarding Facilitation of Business in Ukraine" (Reg. No. 6685). The bill removes the moratorium on the state supervision (control) in several sectors of nature protection activity.      

 

By the subject of legal regulation, the bill belongs to the sectors of the environment, healthcare, and protection of flora and fauna. In the European Union, these sectors are regulated by the Treaty establishing the European Community, Council Directive 96/61/EC concerning integrated pollution prevention and control, Council Directive 96/62/EC on ambient air quality assessment and management, Council Regulation (EEC) No 259/93 on the supervision and control of shipments of waste within, into and out of the European Community, and Directive 2000/76/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the incineration of waste.

 

The Committee members scrutinized the bill on amendments to the Law "On Value Added Tax:" (re Enhancement of Relations in the Registration of Value Added Tax Payers) (Reg. No. 6304). The bill amends the applicable law, regulating compensations to the taxpayers if their registration is cancelled, provided the tax credit is available at the moment of cancellations.  

 

By the subject of legal regulation, the bill belongs to the tax sector. In the European Union, this sector is regulated by Council Directive 2010/23/EU on the common system of value added tax. The Committee declared that the bill complied with the European Union legislation.
