The Committee on State Building and Local Self-Government recommended the Parliament to adopt the Bill on Amendments to Clause 30 of the Law "On Local Self-Government in Ukraine" regarding Registration and Technical Inventory

The bill (Reg. No. 2060) transfers the authorities of the executive bodies of the village, township and municipal councils on the registration of immovable property regardless of the ownership form from the category of the delegated authorities to the category of inherent (self-governing) authorities, extending them with the authority for technical inventory as an indispensable technological stage closely connected with registration.   

 

Governed by the principle of subsidiarity, to improve legislative support of the executive bodies of the village, township and municipal councils, and specify their authorities in the public utility sector, the Committee members recommend extending the authorities of the village, township and municipal councils on the registration of immovable property regardless of the ownership with technical inventory of these objects, transferring these authorities from the category of the delegated authorities to the category of inherent (self-governing) authorities.
