The Committee on Industrial and Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship recommends the Parliament to reject the Bill on Amendments to Sub-Item 1 of Item 1 of Paragraph 2 of Chapter II "Final Provisions" of the Law "On Amendments to several Laws of Ukraine regarding Facilitation of Business in Ukraine"

Item 1 of paragraph 2 of Chapter II "Final Provisions" of the Law "On Amendments to several Laws of Ukraine regarding Facilitation of Business in Ukraine" imposes a moratorium on state supervision (control) over the small business entities by the state authority and local self-government bodies or their officials.

 

The bill (Reg. No.6685) removes the moratorium on the state supervision (control) in several sectors of nature protection activity (environmental protection, natural resources protection, wastes processing, etc).     

 

Having scrutinized the bill, the Committee members stated that provisions of the Law "On State Supervision (Control) in the Sphere of Economic Activity" did not form any obstacles to the provision of the necessary level of environmental protection and ecological security, and consequently, did not need to be amended as suggested by the bill.
