The Committee scrutinized two bills on strengthening competitive ability of the coal-mining and chemical enterprises under Reg. No. No. 6492, 7056.

The Committee members expressed several remarks to the bills.

They believe that cuts in the financial support of the environmental protection funds will impede realization of their basic function, i.e. prevention, reduction or termination of the environmental pollution, which will aggravate environmental situations in different regions of Ukraine.

The Committee members stated that the issues on taxes shall be tackled by the special tax laws, as envisaged by Clause 92 of the Constitution of Ukraine and Clause 1 of the Law "On Taxation System."

The People´s Deputies recommend the Committee on Industrial and Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship to reject the bills.
