The Committee on Family Matters, Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism supports the Bill on Amendments to Clause 19 of the Law "On Childhood Protection" (re Higher Education of Children from the Families with many Children)

The bill (Reg. No.7067) presents a new version of part 10 of clause 19 of the Law "On Childhood Protection", pursuant to which, children in large families having 5 and more children, as well as individuals aged from 18 to 23 from such families, are enrolled to the higher education establishments of all accreditation levels on the out-of-competition basis.

 

Pursuant to the effective Law, these categories of children and individuals are exempt from education fees at the higher education establishments of all property forms and accreditation levels, provided that the qualification level is being obtained for the first time.

 

The Committee members recommend that the bill be adopted as a basis. The relevant resolution was referred to the Committee on Public Health.
