Taras Chornovil, First Deputy Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, member of the deputy group on the inter-parliamentary liaison with the State of Kuwait, and Yevhen Dobriak, Head of the Ukrainian deputy group on the inter-parliamentary liaison with the State of Kuwait, attended the meeting.
The Parties called for boosting the inter-parliamentary dialogue between Ukraine and the State of Kuwait. They declared common interest in the development of the inter-parliamentary cooperation in the trade-economic sector. The Parties called for giving impetus to the collaboration between the government and sole proprietors in the sectors of metal industry, foodstuffs, chemical fertilizers, machine engineering, etc. Members of the deputy group on the inter-parliamentary liaison with the State of Kuwait are concerned with implementation of the investment projects involving loans of the State of Kuwait in the territory of Ukraine.
Abdullah Yusuf Al-Romi declared that the State of Kuwait highly appreciated consolidation of the inter-parliamentary liaison with Ukraine in the political, economic and humanitarian domains.
Oleh Bilorus called for further development of the bilateral relations. He also answered the questions concerning activity of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Foreign Affairs Committee.
