Expenditures for Healthcare, Education and Science should become Priorities of the State Budget, - V.Lytvyn

On Friday, Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, met the personnel of the maternity home of Nizhyn town.

 

Meeting the medical personnel, V.Lytvyn stated that mother and child care should be of priority.  ­He presented the sad statistics: in Chernihiv region, 10 children for 1 thousand of people are born, while 24 children die.

 

V.Lytvyn declared that expenditures for healthcare, education and science should become priorities of the State budget.

 

The Head of the Parliament presented the obstetric division of Nizhyn Maternity Home with anesthetic and artificial respirating apparatus.
