The bill (Reg. No. 6676) suggests that the effect of the Law "On the Fundamentals of State Supervision (Control) in the Economic Sector" not be extended on the conduction of the state supervision (control) in the sphere of environmental protection, environmental safety, rational use, restoration and protection of the natural resources. The authors of the bill explain it by the fact that the given Law complicates the state control (supervision) in the sphere of environmental protection, as the supervising bodies are supposed to inform the legal entities on the date and time of inspection, which makes it impossible to obtain unbiased results of the examination.

The Committee members conclude that effective version of Clause 2 of the Law "On the Fundamentals of State Control (Supervision) in the Economic Sector" places no obstacles to the support of the environmental protection and environmental safety, and need not be amended.
