The Law amends the Standing Orders of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine ratified by the Law "On the Standing Orders of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine" to order the organization and activity of the Parliament.
Under the Law, "at least 15 People´s Deputies are required to set up a deputy faction." A People´s Deputy who was excluded or who withdrew from a deputy faction is considered as non-affiliated with any faction.
Non-affiliated People´s Deputies can set up a deputy group. The number of People´s Deputies required to form the group is fixed by part 1 of clause 59 of the Standing Orders.
Under the Law, The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine shall validate the appointment of the Prime Minister of Ukraine within 5 days since the nomination by the President of Ukraine.
