Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, believes that the Issue on Responsibility of the Economic Bloc of the Government should be raised if the Parliament fails to adopt the Tax Code

V.Lytvyn made this statement during his working visit to Obukhiv town in Kyiv region.

The Head of the Parliament stated that the governmental draft should be submitted by next Monday. Then the remarks expressed during the first reading of the draft Tax Code should be taken into account. V.Lytvyn admits the fact that "the draft will not be impeccable." "It is too complicated. However, the basic criteria for the development of business and economy will be considered," the Head of the Parliament stressed.

V.Lytvyn denounces the fact that the authors of the draft Tax Code constantly criticize this document. "The authorities must work, not criticize. Criticism is a matter of opposition. However, everybody is criticizing."

V.Lytvyn stated that the work upon the draft Tax Code might last by October, while in November the Parliament would be able to scrutinize the draft State Budget for 2011 based on the new taxation principles. He stressed that the budget shall be adopted in due time.
