The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine passed the Resolution "On implementation of the Resolution of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine of 30 September 2010 No20-рп/2010 regarding compliance of the Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine of 8 December 2004 No2222-IV" with the Constitution of Ukraine"

The People´s Deputies commissioned the parliamentary committees to analyze the laws and other normative acts adopted by the Verkhovna Rada since 1 January 2006 within a month as to their compliance with the Constitution of Ukraine in the version that existed before the enactment of the Law "On Amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine of 8 December 2004 No2222-IV". The committees should submit the proposals as to harmonization of the laws and other normative acts with the Constitution of Ukraine of 28 June 1996.

 

The Parliamentarians resolved to set up an Interim Inquiry Panel to submit the proposals regarding amendments to the effective legislation due to adoption of the resolution of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine of 30 September 2010 No20-рп/2010 regarding compliance of the Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine of 8 December 2004 No2222-IV" with the Constitution of Ukraine of 8 December 2004 No 2222-IV.

 

Adam Martyniuk (the Communist Party of Ukraine), First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine was appointed to the office of the Head of the Interim Inquiry Panel, Dmytro Shpenov (the Party of Regions of Ukraine), People´s Deputy of Ukraine to the office of the Deputy Chairman of the Panel.

 

The report of the Interim Inquiry Panel shall be presented during the plenary meeting not later than in six months since the moment of enactment of this Resolution.
