The bill (Reg. Mo6536) suggests ordering of the state regulation of information support of the tourism industry.
As it was declared in the course of the Committee sitting that the bill envisages the implementation of new terms: ‘tourism industry´, ‘touristic information´, ‘state policy of tourism information support´, ‘state regulation of tourism information support. ´
Furthermore, the People´s Deputies emphasised that to the regulatory functions of the state in the sphere of tourism should be added information support of the modern tourism industry and formation of image of Ukraine as a state attractive for the tourists.
The bill also suggests supplementing of the effective law by the clause "The Directions of the State Policy in the Sphere of Tourism Information Support" that defines:
Formation of the tourist informational centers network;
Formation of the data bank of tourist resources and tourist products of Ukraine;
Implementation of the marketing instruments to promote the national tourist services in the world and Ukraine;
Participation in international tourism exhibitions promoting national tourism products;
Formation of the image of Ukraine as a country attractive for the tourists;
Formation and promotion of tourism brand of Ukraine;
Marketing promotion of the national and transfrontier network of international travel corridors;
Formation of the conditions for the open access to the tourist information except cases contradicting effective legislation;
Formation of the world and national public opinion about Ukraine as attractive and hospitable state.
