The Foreign Affairs Committee recommends that the Parliament ratifies the Agreement between Ukraine and the Federal Republic of Brazil on the Transfer of Convicted Offenders

Ratification of the Agreement shall enable the Parties to render mutual legal assistance in the transfer of convicted offenders to serve the sentence in the country of their citizenship.

 

According to the Committee members, the Agreement defines the concepts used, and determines the grounds for the institution of the transfer procedure. The ministries of justice are considered as the central bodies in charge of implementing the Agreement.

 

A relent bill was registered under Reg. No. 0171.
