The Committee on Environmental Policy, Use of Natural Resources and Elimination of Consequences of Chornobyl Disaster recommends that the Parliament adopts the Bill on Technogenic Safety in the Second Reading

The bill (Reg. No.3438) determines basic legal, economic and organizational principles and objectives of technogenic safety.

 

The bill regulates relations between the economic entities that perform or can perform activity dangerous for the public health or the environment, and the public authority bodies, other individuals and legal entities regardless of their activity, form of ownership and subordination. The bill determines their authorities in this sector.

 

The committee members received 195 motions while adjusting the bill to the second reading.
