Productive Cooperation and Unwavering Support for Ukraine: Committee Chair Meets with Ambassador of Türkiye to Ukraine

Chair of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and Interparliamentary Cooperation Oleksandr Merezhko held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to Ukraine Mustafa Levent Bilgen.

The interlocutors discussed issues of Ukrainian-Turkish trade and economic cooperation, in particular the implementation of the Free Trade Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Türkiye. It is expected to become an important element in enhancing bilateral relations in both economic and political dimensions.

Mustafa Levent Bilgen emphasized the well-established cooperation with the Verkhovna Rada, and specifically with the Committee on Foreign Affairs and Interparliamentary Cooperation during his tenure in Ukraine, which is especially important for building effective work of the diplomatic mission in the host state.

The Committee Chair expressed gratitude to Mr. Ambassador for the comprehensive support of the Ukrainian state and the Ukrainian people throughout the entire term of his diplomatic mission in Ukraine.
