At all meetings during the 33rd Annual Session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, the Ukrainian delegation raises the issue of support for Ukraine, as russia does not stop the war, continuing to attack and kill civilians. In this situation, what is needed are not only condemnations and resolutions, but also concrete steps by the governments of partner countries.

This was stated by Yevheniia Kravchuk, Member of the Ukrainian Parliament, Deputy Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy, and member of the Permanent Delegation to PACE.

"Within the summer session of the OSCE, the Ukrainian Delegation is actively holding meetings, raising the issues of support for Ukraine, and speaking about the latest brutal russian attacks on Kyiv, and about how important it is for Ukraine to  receive additional missiles for Patriot systems to intercept the ballistic missile. Delays in this matter cost human lives. For instance, over the past week alone, russia killed around 50 civilians in Kyiv. We consistently emphasize this at all side events,” the politician noted.

She added that a specific focus is being placed on the role of the media and journalists in ensuring that the world does not forget about the war unleashed by russia, its aggression, and the mounting civilian casualties.

“We showed photographs taken by Ukrainian correspondents who worked directly at the strike sites. Undeniably, we have many partners within the OSCE, but moving beyond mere condemnations and resolutions, there must be concrete steps taken by the governments of partner states. This is exactly what we are working on,” the People's Deputy emphasized.

According to her, the creation of a Special Tribunal was additionally discussed with Dutch partners.

“This is crucial in the context of the Council of Europe's work. There is official confirmation from the Netherlands that they will host all stages of the Tribunal, and the specific venue where this Tribunal will be located has already been selected,” the parliamentarian concluded.
