Oleksandr Merezhko, Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Policy and Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation, and members of the Committee held a meeting with Piotr Łukasiewicz, Chargé d'Affaires ad interim of the Republic of Poland to Ukraine.
The participants of the meeting discussed a wide range of bilateral cooperation issues, specifically focusing on economic, military, and technical assistance to Ukraine, as well as matters of cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
Special attention was paid during the meeting to Poland's support for Ukraine's European and Euro-Atlantic integration, Ukrainian-Polish inter-parliamentary cooperation, and the upcoming session of the Parliamentary Assembly of Ukraine and the Republic of Poland.
The parties particularly emphasized the importance of maintaining and deepening the strategic nature of relations between Ukraine and Poland, as well as the significance of hosting joint events in culture, science, and innovation.
The meeting was attended by People’s Deputies of Ukraine Oleksandr Merezhko, Iryna Gerashchenko, and Mariia Ionova.
