On July 10, within the framework of the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2025) in Rome, a bilateral meeting took place between Dmytro Natalukha, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development, and Alberto Gusmeroli, Chairman of the 10th Committee of the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Republic on Production Activities, Trade, and Tourism.
The negotiations were held in a constructive atmosphere characterized by mutual respect, openness, and a shared interest in deepening economic partnership between Ukraine and Italy.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues, including expanding trade and economic cooperation, supporting joint investment projects, and the participation of Italian businesses in Ukraine’s post-war reconstruction.
«We have initiated a dialogue between our committees, which has all the prerequisites to become a permanent tool for coordinating economic cooperation between Ukraine and Italy. The meeting was very positive: we share a common vision of the next steps. Essentially, today we have opened a new chapter in cooperation between our parliaments, which can result in joint projects and the sustainable strengthening of economic partnership and friendship between our countries,» said Dmytro Natalukha.
The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development expresses sincere gratitude for the political support, willingness to dialogue, and openness to practical cooperation aimed at achieving the common goal of sustainable economic growth and the reconstruction of Ukraine.
