On May 28, 2025, a ceremonial event was held during which the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, presented diplomas and commemorative badges to the laureates of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Prize for educators from preschool, general secondary, vocational (vocational-technical), and out-of-school education institutions. Diplomas were also awarded to the Verkhovna Rada scholarship recipients — young scientists holding the degree of Doctor of Sciences — for the year 2023.

The awards were presented in accordance with the Resolutions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine dated December 20, 2023, No. 3525-IX “On Awarding the Annual Prize of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to Educators from Preschool, General Secondary, Vocational (Vocational-Technical), and Out-of-School Education Institutions” and dated August 9, 2023, No. 3297-IX “On Granting Named Scholarships of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Young Scientists – Doctors of Sciences in 2023.”

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine emphasized that receiving awards from the Verkhovna Rada is a well-deserved recognition of many years of dedicated work. He also expressed his gratitude to the recipients for their sincere commitment to educational and scientific activities, marked by creative achievements and scholarly accomplishments.

The event was attended by representatives of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Education, Science and Innovation, including Committee Chair Serhii Babak, Head of the Subcommittee on Vocational and Professional Pre-Higher Education Olha Koval, and Head of the Subcommittee on General Secondary, Inclusive Education, and Education in Temporarily Occupied Territories Olena Lys. Members of Parliament of Ukraine took part in discussions on the pressing issues concerning educators in preschool, general secondary, vocational (vocational-technical), and out-of-school education institutions, as well as young scientists.

After the official award ceremony, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, together with Members of Parliament who serve on the Committee, expressed their gratitude to the educators and scientists for their work, answered participants' questions, and took group photos with the award recipients.
