This was stated by the Chairman of the Committee on Human Rights, De-occupation and Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, National Minorities and International Relations Andrii Zadorozhnyi during his speech at the thematic session “Gender Equality in EU Integration”.

“In the context of armed aggression, manipulative rhetoric against gender equality and human rights is part of russia's information war against Ukraine. At the same time, despite certain shortcomings and obstacles, Ukraine is confidently moving step by step towards gradually eliminating gender gaps, preventing and combating any discrimination, and implementing inclusivity practices as the basis of fundamental rights and freedoms in the context of European integration.

Our country is looking for ways to ensure gender equality in all spheres, creating conditions for eradicating gender stereotypes, and this means that we are moving in the right direction,” said Andrii Zadorozhnyi.
