These days, a meeting was held in Ukraine with representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in our country to discuss the Peace Formula proposed by the President Volodymyr Zelenskyi. This time, the participants gathered in Boryspil and discussed the tenth point of the Formula.

There is now a clear increase in support for the initiative of the Head of State: while 21 countries were represented at the first meeting, 86 representatives of states and international organisations accredited in Ukraine took part in the latest one.

This was stated by Arsenii Pushkarenko, the Member of Parliament of Ukraine, Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Policy and Interparliamentary Cooperation.

"Different states have proposed initiatives and peace plans for Ukraine, but we have consistently, step by step, moved towards focusing on Ukrainian proposals. In this matter, the Ukrainian Peace Formula is based on international law, the UN Charter, and therefore more and more states support it. Today, we are at the finish line to continue promoting our Peace Formula at the global level," the politician said.

According to him, well-known politicians are acting as consultants on various points of the Ukrainian Peace Formula. In particular, these are former NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen and former Swedish Deputy Prime Minister Margot Wallström.

The MP stressed that as the situation in the Middle East deteriorated, the need to hold a Global Peace Summit and implement the Peace Formula proposed by the President Volodymyr Zelenskyi had increased.

"The implementation of this Formula provides a set of universal tools for resolving conflicts in any part of the world. The titanic work of our foreign policy bloc, the head of the Presidential Office, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is yielding results today, and the number of countries involved gives us optimism and confidence that we will be able to do everything on our terms," the MP said.

He stressed that Ukraine offers a fairly flexible system of state participation, i.e. a three-tiered approach – diplomatic representatives in our country, advisers to world leaders, and a format at the level of the leaders themselves, when everything is agreed upon, and implementation mechanisms are developed and approved. At the same time, each country determines for itself the point that is closer to it.
