The members of the Committee on Rules of Procedure paid a working visit to the European Parliament

From 29 November to 1 December 2023, the members of the Committee on Rules of Procedure, Parliamentary Ethics and Organisation of Work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine paid a working visit to the Kingdom of Belgium (Brussels), organised by the European Parliament and International IDEA.

The delegation consisting of the Head of the Committee S. Kalchenko, the Secretary of the Committee M.Papiiev and the Heads of the subcommittees of the Committee O.Hrynchuk, N.Prykhodko, O.Syniutka, the Head of the Secretariat and the Chief Consultant M.Nehotsa, A.Morhun, held a number of meetings, in particular, with Mr Rainer Wieland, the Vice-President of the European Parliament, Mr Adrián Vázquez Lázara, the Chairman of the Committee on Legal Affairs and Vice-Chairman of the same Committee, Mr Sergey Lagodinsky and members of the Committees on Legal Affairs and Constitutional Affairs of the European Parliament.

A separate meeting was dedicated to the exchange of information with Wolfgang Nozar, the Head of the Rule of Law, Anti-Fraud and Financial Management Unit, Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations of the European Commission, and Giulio Venneri, the Head of the Rule of Law and Democracy Unit, Rule of Law, Governance and Security Unit, Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations and Enlargement of the European Commission.
