June 4 is the International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Military Aggression.

The history of this day dates back to August 19, 1982, when members of the UN General Assembly decided to introduce such a sad date in memory of children affected by military conflicts and any other aggression.

Children are most vulnerable to armed conflict and almost always fall victim to a number of crimes and offenses.  Children die, suffer from violence and abduction, and can be recruited and used in hostilities.

On the International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression, members of the Committee protest against all violence and war and call on world leaders and the international community to take all possible measures to end this brutal war!
