Ruslan Stefanchuk: Russia has no right to appeal to the legacy of victory over Nazism because its actions de facto repeat Nazi atrocities and desecrate the memory of veterans and participants in the war.

On the eve of Victory Day, Ukrainian Parliament adopted a resolution "On the Statement of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the 77th anniversary of the victory over Nazism and the inadmissibility of the Russian Federation's appropriation of the victory over Nazism." Resolution was supported by 290 MPs.

In the statement, the Parliament acknowledged the contribution of the Ukrainian people to the joint victory of the Anti-Hitler coalition over Nazism.
Resolution №7343 is an act of protest against the systemic devaluation, distortion, and manipulation of moral heritage by the participants of the Second World War, which Russia does.

"Russia has no right to appeal to the legacy of victory over Nazism because its actions de facto repeat Nazi atrocities and desecrate the memory of veterans and participants in the war", - stressed the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

"We have defeated Nazism, and we will defeat racism!@, - Ruslan Stefanchuk is convinced.
