The Committee on Social Policy and Protection of Veterans' Rights calls on the world to recognize the genocide of the Ukrainian nation by Russia

The whole world was shocked by the murders in Bucha, but this is only one city. Deliberate and pointless shelling, murders, and abductions have been reported in almost all Russian-occupied territories of Ukraine against Ukrainian civilians, especially those who identify themselves as Ukrainian. It is evident that the Russians deny the very right of Ukrainians to self-determination, which is a fundamental principle of international law.
The United Nations Charter states that the peoples of the United Nations are determined to save future generations from the scourge of war and establish a belief in fundamental human rights.
The world must save future generations of Ukrainians!
