During the #UAtogether telethon, Ruslan Stefanchuk, the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, expressed his position on international companies that continue to cooperate with Russia.

"Wealth gained through blood and tears will never bring prosperity," he said the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada.

He informed about the preparation of the fifth package of sanctions against Russia. It should include the following sanctions: full-scale disconnection of Russian banks from the SWIFT payment system (currently only partially implemented); breaking the correspondent relations of the EU, US and UK central banks with all banks in russia and belarus, encouraging financial companies, investment and pension funds to get rid of russian assets.

"What is very important is that we demand that Russia and Belarus be blacklisted by the International Anti-Money Laundering Group (FATF)," said Ruslan Stefanchuk.

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada expressed confidence that all international companies still operating in Russia fully understand their attitude to what is happening in Ukraine.

"I have always said that the bullet that pierces the heart of a Ukrainian patriot does not consist of an alloy of metals, but of an alloy of indifference of the Russian people and part of the taxes of a foreign company that has not withdrawn from the aggressor state. Ukraine will adequately respond to such actions," Ruslan Stefanchuk stressed.
