The Parliament of Ukraine supported Resolution №? 7188, which proposes to approve the Address of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the international community with a call to put an end to the medieval atrocities in the centre of Europe committed by the russian federation.

"We believe that russia's barbaric actions aimed at the physical extermination of the Ukrainians must be strongly condemned by the world and stopped immediately. To do so, it is necessary to strengthen and expand existing sanctions, increase comprehensive effective assistance to Ukraine and among other things - to help with weapons," said Ruslan Stefanchuk, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, on his Facebook page.

According to him, the entire civilised world must act as a united front against russia's illegal invasion of Ukraine.

"It is necessary for the sake of peace and security in Europe, the victory of good over evil, justice, protection of democratic and human values, upholding human rights and freedoms," stressed Ruslan Stefanchuk.

By this approved address, the Verkhovna Rada also called on the states to recognize putin and his associates involved in war crimes, crimes against humanity and acts of genocide of the Ukrainian people as war criminals.
